Bayern Munich fullback Rafinha can be considered a serious West Ham option for next season. The 31-year-old has been linked over the past week with a move to the London Stadium, with Slaven Bilic wanting to improve his fullback options.

And it turns out the possibility is real. Sport Witness has been informed Rafina sees a Premier League move as a good choice for the future.

The fullback, who has literally won every possible trophy for Bayern Munich, is open to new challenges after spending six years at the German club. Despite playing for such a big club, Rafinha would also like to have more game time, as he’s only managed to make nine starts in the Bundesliga this season.

Rafinha’s contract is expiring next year, and if he isn’t contacted about a renewal soon, the Brazilian will start considering offers from other clubs. But the player’s first wish will would be to join a top-tier side such as Manchester United or Manchester City, who are seen as a priority.

So West Ham’s task would be to work on convincing Rafinha to join Slaven Bilic’s squad. On the financial side, it’s believed the club have enough resources to convince Bayern to let the player move.
