David Ospina to Fenerbahce is one of the biggest sport stories in Turkey right now.

The Arsenal goalkeeper is said to have reached a ‘preliminary agreement’ on a four year Fenerbahce contract, and the club want to get everything sorted out as soon as possible, hence starting the ball moving now.

Sabah are one of the outlets with the claims and whilst it’s fair to say lots of things are claimed in the Turkish football media that never happen, just like everywhere, when a player is joining a Super Lig club it’s almost always the home media out in front.

Fenerbahce would be a good move for Ospina and the Turkish club would hope for a bargain deal from Arsenal, given the Gunners didn’t pay much for the Colombian in the first place.

Being second choice to Petr Cech has done little to improve the 28 year old’s game and it would be no surprise if he’s ready to head for pastures new.
