Newcastle United, Aston Villa and Everton are all in the picture to sign Juventus’ Weston McKennie in the summer window.

That’s according to Tutto Juve, who say the midfielder is ‘very popular’ in the Premier League.

It’s further claimed Newcastle, Aston Villa and Everton are ‘observing him carefully’.

The report’s title says ‘possible offers’, indicating the Premier League trio could consider tabling proposals for the 25-year-old in the next window.

McKennie has just over a year left on his deal and the Serie A side seem to be in favour of extending his contract.

If there’s no renewal, Tutto Juve state the Old Lady would look to sell him, and request a fee between €20m and €25m. This would be well within the reach of Newcastle, Aston Villa and Everton.

The American spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan at Leeds United and failed to impress at Elland Road. Things have improved for him since then and he’s done quite well at Juve this season.

Last month, Tuttosport explained that his agent has tested the waters with a few English clubs, but didn’t provide details of any clubs.

It’s possible that Newcastle, Aston Villa and Everton may be among the clubs McKennie’s agent held talks with.
