Spanish newspaper Sport really want Barcelona to buy a striker. It’s felt the trident of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, need some support.
The trident could then have breaks for smaller games, and Barcelona would also be covered in the event of one or more injuries.
Sport have a huge feature in their Thursday edition covering the possible options, a double page spread inside the front cover. In the ‘young boys’ section is Liverpool’s Divock Origi, and it’s not the first time the Belgian has been linked with Barcelona.
The ‘pros’ for Origi are, according to Sport, that he’s a ‘battering ram’ type player, but more than just that, they believe he’s good with his feet and also quick.
The ‘cons’ are that Liverpool didn’t hugely rely on him last season, so he’s lacking the required experience.
Another ‘con’ would surely be that Liverpool wouldn’t want to sell and would therefore ask more than Barcelona want to pay.
