As Italian outlet Calcio Mercato analyses the future of Douglas Costa today, a potential move to the Premier League is mentioned by them.

The winger is currently having a loan spell from Juventus at Bayern Munich, and should soon find a new destination for his career.

Calcio Mercato claims that a ‘solution’ could be Leeds United, since manager Marcelo Bielsa likes the Brazilian’s technical skills.

The report labels the interest as only ‘an idea’ for now, but adds that something concrete could show up in the coming weeks.

Even though Milan tried to sign the winger back in the January transfer window, Bayern Munich never wanted to cut short the loan, and that’s why the move didn’t happen. Now the chances of a move to the Rossoneri aren’t even mentioned.

With the ‘low probability’ of the German side keeping Costa, Juventus now look for a new option and expect to make at least €11m with the sale.

Last month, reports from the Spanish media named Costa as a potential replacement for Raphinha at the Elland Road side.
