Dutch star Memphis Depay was, once again, left out of the squad against Swansea City, and it really seems Jose Mourinho doesn’t fancy the 22-year-old.
Depay has managed just 20 minutes of league football this season, and reports continue to link him with a move away from Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has been linked with a move to AC Milan, and it now appears another Serie A club could be keen on signing him.
Sunday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport claims AS Roma are closely following Depay, and could be keen on signing him in January.
Like AC Milan, AS Roma want to sign Depay on loan with the option to make it permanent, but have also identified Ajax’s El Ghazi as a low cost alternative.
The 22-year-old needs to play regular football, and could consider switching clubs in the near future, if his situation doesn’t change soon, but it could be a difficult job to convince Jose Mourinho.
