West Brom may just have had some positive transfer news over the future of Salomon Rondon. The Venezuelan striker has been the subject of transfer rumours involving Tianjin Quanjian.
There have been claims of big bids for the West Brom player, as Tianjin continued their quest to sign a striker. Well, good news may come via Axel Witsel, who moved to the club from Zenit this month, he’s posted an image on Twitter which basically confirms the signing of Alexandre Pato.

The talks to get Pato to China had hit several hurdles over the past few days, but that’s clearly all sorted out now. The signing of Pato could be mean that Tianjin have the striker they wanted, and would therefore not bother West Brom for Rondon.
With the transfer window closing, the last thing West Brom fans want is for Rondon to go and then efforts to replace him run out of time.
