Wolves have moved to new ground for Championship transfers over the past few months. The club’s signing of Ruben Neves shocked many in football, but it’s not just the former Porto player who has been an impressive recruit.

Nuno Espirito Santo has got a squad of such quality that if they do achieve promotion, there’s not going to be wholesale changes needed at Wolves.

Because a lot is now believable with Wolves and transfers, there’s a lot imagined up, and A Bola suggest that’s the case with Diogo Goncalves claims they say have originally come from England.

In a small article on page 7 of their Saturday edition, A Bola go over claims of Wolves building a deal for Benfica’s Goncalves which would be worth €18m plus a further €10m in bonuses from the Championship club.

Not wasting any time getting to the point, A Bola then state they’ve found out the claims are ‘unfounded’, or ‘nonsense’ if you like.
