Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ruben Neves could be indeed ready to sign a new contract for the Premier League club.
After reports from the English press, it’s now Portuguese newspaper O Jogo who claims the midfielder is extending his commitment to the club.
The outlet has a big story about the permanence of Ruben Vinagre today, and at the end of the article they claim they’ve learned that Neves has agreed a new deal.
O Jogo claims that the new contract should be signed ‘in the next few days’ and will be for five years, linking Neves to the Championship winners until 2023.
Ruben Neves was signed from Porto on a €18m last summer. The transfer was seen as a surprise in Portugal not only because of the amount spent by a Championship club, but also because Neves was seen by the Dragons as a great prospect.
The 21-year-old has made 42 appearances for Wolves last season, scoring six goals, including a couple of screamers.
