Pedro Neto signed for Wolves from SC Braga in August 2019, and has had a mixed time since arriving in England.
His talent isn’t questioned but the 22-year-old has had to face injury battles and come back after a long period out. This season is another fresh start for the attacker and he’s started all three of Wolves’ Premier League games so far.
In recent days, the youngster has been linked with a move to Arsenal, with there even being suggestions the Gunners could offer as much as £50m for the player.
Having extended his contract in March of this year, Neto is committed to Wolves until June 2027 so the club are under absolutely no pressure in that regard.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo report they’ve been told Wolves have absolutely no intention of selling Neto this summer. The ‘door is closed’ for his departure and he’s expected to be available to Bruno Lage for all of the coming season.
Wolves want to keep Neto for at least another season, and therefore, as O Jogo have it, they won’t listen to approaches for him.
