The Portuguese media continues to report the developments for the transfer of Jadan Raymond from Crystal Palace to Vitória Guimarães.
Newspaper Correio da Manhã is the only one with an update today, saying the 16-year-old is very close on agreeing his move to the Liga NOS side.
The outlet has spoken to people close to Vitória Guimarães’ administration, who said ‘It only remains to conclude the agreement’.
Raymond is leaving Crystal Palace as a free agent, and still, the Portuguese club should pay the Premier League side a fee of €300k for training compensation.
He’s expected to sign a three-year deal with Vitória Guimarães, and due to his age, he will obviously join the club’s youth ranks at first.
The move has been followed both by the English and the Portuguese media in the past few days, and seems very close to happening indeed.
Rumours have also said that Benfica and Valencia were after the player, but it appears Vitória Guimarães have pipped the big clubs this time around.
