The Portuguese media continues to show confidence that the negotiations between Everton and Marco Silva are going pretty well.

Today, Record newspaper writes that club and manager are ‘in tune’ as his agent Carlos Gonçalves currently negotiates his contract in England.

Marco Silva is said to be the number one option on a shortlist of three managers who Everton have picked as possibilities.

And among the choices the manager has for next season, he considers the Toffees to be the best.

The club are said to have an ambitious project for the coming campaign, which includes the arrival of new football director Marcel Brands.

Record still doesn’t have any information on when this agreement will be reached, but continue to sound pretty positive about it.

That’s why they say that when Everton claimed the new manager should be appointed soon, that was because of the negotiations with Silva going well.
