As all the pieces seem to be moving for Ruben Amorim to leave Sporting for Liverpool in the summer, and even the manager is apparently doing his part.
The latest story on this chase comes from Radio Renascença‘s Bola Branca, where former Lions player Litos brought some information on the negotiations.
According to the pundit, Amorim has will have told Sporting president Frederico Varandas about Liverpool’s interest.
Litos also highlighted how difficult it would be for the manager to reject a club like the Anfield side, and the Lions should now start looking for a new boss.
This is some very important information, because earlier today, newspaper A Bola highlighted the importance of Liverpool coming clean about their interest in Amorim.
It was said that Sporting may only demand the coach’s full release clause if the Reds tried a ‘hostile’ approach, and that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Liverpool actually seem to be moving early and slow to find an agreement with Amorim, and that can only be good for their relationship with Sporting during these negotiations.
