Two more Rangers signings for the 2017/18 season are expected to be announced in the next few days.

As reported by Portuguese newspaper O Jogo today, both Dálcio and Fábio Cardoso travelled to Glasgow on Sunday to complete their moves to Ibrox, with Pedro Caixinha pushing the deals.

Dálcio is moving on a loan deal. The 21-year-old is still not considered to be ready to make it to Benfica’s first team, so the Lisbon club were happy to send him to Rangers.

But defender Fabio Cardoso is arriving on a permanent transfer. He’s being sold by Vitória Setúbal for a a €1.5m fee, and Benfica are getting half of it because they still own 50% of his rights since his move from last summer.

The players are both expected to have their medicals today and have their transfers announced soon.

When signed, Dálcio and Cardoso will be the second and third Portuguese players added to Rangers squad for next season. Defender Bruno Alves was the first to join his compatriot Pedro Caixinha.
