André Silva’s hat-trick against Faroe Islands has obviously put the striker’s name in all the Portuguese newspapers. And as every other player who shines for Portugal’s national team and still plays in the country, it didn’t take long before he started being linked to clubs from abroad.

On Wednesdey, A Bola took claims from Italian newspapers who say Juventus are keeping an eye on the striker, and then mentioned two other clubs who have been following him.

Both Atlético Madrid’s Diego Simeone and Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger are said to be ‘strong admirers’ of the player.

This is not the first time a Portuguese newspaper links André Silva to Arsenal. O Jogo did it earlier this month, saying club scouts were watching him in a Champions League game.

André Silva has six goals and three assists in 11 appearances for Porto this season. His contract with the club runs until 2021.
