It’s now time for the Portuguese media to report Arsenal’s and Leicester City’s interest in the Feirense winger Oghenekaro Etebo.
Earlier this week, English and Nigerian outlets have broken the news by saying that both the Gunners and the Foxes have been scouting the player recently.
Now it’s A Bola who are claiming it, saying that Arsene Wenger and Claudio Ranieri have both been keeping tabs on the player.
Their interest appeared after the advice of German manager Gernot Rohr, who’s currently working for the Nigerian national team and told them to keep an eye on the 21-year-old.
Etebo has one goal and one assist in his debut season, and Feirense are currently in 15th place on the Portuguese league table.
Arsenal are constantly watching many Portuguese league games, but it’s a rare to see reports of them scouting smaller clubs. The same goes for Leicester City.
Although it’s unclear if A Bola took the reports from the English press or if they’ve learned it on their own, they usually credit it when the info is not theirs.
