Rangers are ‘very happy’ with Malik Tillman’s loan deal at the club, with Michael Beale wanting keep to him at Ibrox next season.
That’s according to SportBILD, who say ‘poker is on the cards’ for the 20-year-old as Rangers look to secure him on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich.
Tillman has been on loan at Rangers since the summer and established himself as a key player in Beale’s squad, bagging ten goals and four assists in the league to make him the Glasgow club’s fourth highest goal scorer behind James Tavernier, Antonio Colak and Alfredo Morelos.
His loan deal from Bayern includes an option to make it permanent in the summer and SportBILD say that Rangers are keen to take that up.
According to their information they are ‘very happy’ with how Tillman’s loan at Ibrox has gone so far and ‘want to keep him’ as a result.
They also state that ‘poker is one the cards’ between the two clubs, which they don’t clarify but hints that there is no set fee for Rangers to make the move permanent. Instead, negotiations are needed between the two sides before that becomes a reality.
Either way, Rangers are keen to keep the forward, with Beale and co seemingly pleased by what they’ve seen so far.
