Just when things are starting to look up again for Manchester United and Paul Pogba, his agent, Mino Raiola, comes in and stirs things up.

That’s how it feels anyways, as the Frenchman has struggled to find some form this season at Manchester United following injuries and him testing positive for Covid-19.

Pogba has had ups and down since his return, but the past couple of appearances brought a lot of hope, including his start again West Ham, where he found the back of the net to kick start their comeback

However, it appears, in an interview with Tuttosport, that Raiola is now calling an end to the France international’s time at Manchester United.

Speaking to the Italian newspaper, who posted a video hyping the interview set to be published on Tuesday, the super agent said: “Pogba – Manchester United: it’s over”.

Whether that means a sale in the summer remains to be seen, but if what Raiola says is true, then it would be the last time for Ed Woodward to make some money back.

Pogba’s contract is set to expire in summer of 2022, meaning that if they don’t offload him in 2021, he will be allowed to talk to clubs from January 2022 onwards regarding a potential free transfer.

It’s a big decision, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Manchester United did their best to extend his contract with one final big push, such is the midfielder’s ability to change games when he’s in form, but if both the player and his agent want a transfer, it’ll be hard to stand in their way so close to the end of his current deal.
