Carlos Soler’s loan spell at West Ham United has been deemed ‘not successful’ and he could end up back at Valencia, if Paris Saint Germain play their part.

That’s according to Radio Marca, who cover the West Ham loanee today and how he could move to Spain if the stars align in his favour.

The midfielder is currently on loan from PSG and has been a regular under Julen Lopetegui and Graham Potter this season.

There are doubts about whether West Ham will take up an option to make the move permanent, though, with it still remaining to be seen if Potter has him as part of his long-term plans at the London Stadium.

Marca suggest that isn’t on the cards and report his Premier League experience so far is not being seen as a successful one.

PSG are instead considering another loan for him, but the problem is that few clubs in Spain can afford his current salary. That was an issue for Real Sociedad in the summer when they tried.

A return to Valencia could be on the cards but both Soler and PSG would have to play their part when it comes to his wages to make that happen. The indication, though, is that he won’t be staying at West Ham after this season.
