Atalanta forward Ruslan Malinovskyi may not end up at Tottenham and could instead remain in Serie A come the January transfer window.
That’s according to journalist Rudy Galetti, who says suggestions about the player’s ‘possible arrival at Tottenham’ in the winter window could be wide of the mark.
They explain that Malinovskyi is not living up to his abilities in Italy this season, with a season to forget so far seeing him score just once in 12 games.
His contract is set to expire next summer so Atalanta are keen to move him on if they can and he has subsequently been linked with a move to Tottenham.
However, Galetti says that despite the ‘many market rumours’ around Spurs, the trequartista could remain in Serie A.
In fact, according to his information, Malinovskyi could in fact just be changing cities and not colours, swapping the black and blue of Atalanta for Inter Milan.
They have already ‘initiated the first contacts’ for a possible arrival in Milan and are seemingly ready to compete with Tottenham for his signature.
