Super-agent Jorge Mendes is already working on a deal to take Goncalo Guedes to Wolverhampton Wanderers from Valencia this summer.
That’s according to Grada 3, who say any move will be dependent on Adama Traoré’s future at Molineux.
Guedes has been linked with a move to Wolves over the last week, with several outlets in pain reporting that Valencia are going to put him up for sale after his disappointing performances this season.
Earlier today, we covered a report from La Razón that stated Wolves have made their interest clear and Valencia are even willing to sanction a cheaper deal if they can have Rafa Mir as part of it.
Grada 3 pick up on that and explain that Mendes is ‘already scouting the market’ to find a new club for Guedes this summer.
He wants to present Valencia with an offer, and he could find one from Wolves, ‘one of his favourite clubs in recent years’.
They state that Nuno Espirito Santo had already been interested in Guedes ‘for some time’ without ever making an offer, but that could change if they sell Adama Traoré this summer.
Should he depart, then Guedes could be a target to improve their forward line, and given their relationship with Mendes, it is ‘conceivable’ that everything could point to an agreement.
Valencia want to recover part of the €40m they paid PSG for Guedes but would accept around €20-25m, a figure which would allow them to keep hold of other players they want to build the team around long-term.
