Tottenham Hotspur are yet to appoint a permanent successor to José Mourinho, but that’s not stopped them from being linked with forwards, especially with all the talk of Harry Kane wanting a move away from the north London club.

On Wednesday evening, RMC Sport reported Spurs have made Marcus Thuram a ‘priority’ target this summer.

It was also explained the 23-year-old is ‘in talks’ with the Premier League side and is ‘expected to leave’ Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Sky Deutschland have looked at the claims made in France and they provide their own information on this case.

According to the report, a deal taking the attacker to the English capital is ‘not in the bag yet’. Sky even spoke to the France international’s entourage and they ‘deny an impending deal with Spurs’.

Thuram, who finished the 2020/21 season with 11 goals and 12 assists in all competitions, has over two years left on his contract with the Bundesliga side.

Sky don’t mention whether or not Gladbach are ready to allow the player to leave this summer.
