This morning, a report from newspaper Record claimed that João Carvalho and Diogo Gonçalves would be flying to England today, as they’re set to complete their move from Benfica to Nottingham Forest.
Now further confirmation comes from O Jogo‘s website, who says the duo have already departed from their home country as they head to the Championship side.
According to the outlet, who ‘witnessed’ their departure, the players took a flight from Aeroporto Humberto Delgado and are landing in London.
Forest will be paying €15m to sign João Carvalho permanently, while Diogo Gonçalves joins the club on a loan deal, which should include a buying option.
Both players are considered to have good potential, and are only leaving Benfica after getting a lack of minutes at the Portuguese side.
