Transfer talk is building up around the European sport media, with the belief that clubs and agents will soon start using their downtime to get moves set up ahead of the summer window.
With no actual games taking place and everyone confined to their houses, it gives the opportunity for chats to take place and for transfer ideas to be edged towards reality.
Chelsea are one of the clubs being mentioned the most, with there being a feeling the Blues are set to spend big following their inactivity in the transfer market.
According to Catalan newspaper Sport, Chelsea are set to launch themselves for Philippe Coutinho, having come to the conclusion they’re going to miss out on Jadon Sancho.
The players are of course different, yet the assumption may be that it’s a case of one or the other for a big singing.
Kia Joorabchain, Coutinho’s agent, is presented as being ‘already in talks’ with Chelsea over a move. The Blues are the club ‘insisting’ most on the Brazilian right now.
Sport don’t go over the potential structure of a deal, but it had been previously reported in Spain that Barcelona will accept a loan move for Coutinho, similar to that they agreed with Bayern Munich.
