A few days ago, we reported Granada star Isaac Success had completed a move to Watford, after signing a five-year contract.
The 20-year-old was reportedly wanted by a number of other clubs, but a move to Watford always seemed likely as both clubs were owned by the Pozzo family.
The Italians then sold Granada, which slightly delayed things.
However, the Nigerian forward yesterday said goodbye to the fans of Granada with a letter.
“Today is a bittersweet day for me, because through this letter, I want to say goodbye to the best club that you can have, of my colleagues, of all workers in the club who have both supported me since I came to Granada, plus this city that has given me everything.”
There are no concrete reports on the transfer fee yet, but reports suggest it could be around €11m. Success was in impressive form last season, and had 6 goals and 5 assists to his name.
