The 28-year-old opened the scoring in the 6th minute before netting the second goal after the hour mark.
Tuttosport didn’t only focus on the Cagliari tie but also on the 28-year-old’s general performance for Torino this season.
The newspaper states: ‘The Scot is increasingly decisive and, including assists (2), has the best performance in the championship among players who made their Serie A debut this season together with Roma’s Dovbyk with 9 (7 goals).’
Adams is having a good time since leaving Southampton and aims to make this season even more successful.
“I’m working to make this the best season of my career,” Tuttosport quoted him as saying.
For his performance against Cagliari, Tuttosport gave him a rating of 8/10 and Corriere dello Sport also awarded him the same rating. Meanwhile, the ex-Southampton was rated 7/10 by Gazzetta dello Sport.
