Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri is ‘willing to listen’ to offers this summer amid claims Newcastle United are keen on signing him.
That’s according to Marca, who say the striker will need to be convinced on any transfers as he wont ‘accept just any destination’ this summer.
En-Nesyri was linked to Newcastle over the weekend, with reports in England claiming that the Magpies were looking at a potential deal to bolster their forward line.
That’s been noted in Spain, where it was explained yesterday that Sevilla were likely to demand that Newcastle pay the player’s termination clause if they were serious about a move.
Marca follow that up today and explain that the Moroccan striker isn’t interested in just joining any old club but ‘will listen to offers’ this summer when they are presented to him.
He’s very much in the shop window after impressing in Qatar and bouncing back at Sevilla but is happy at his club and only wants to depart for an offer that really suits him.
He’s turned down the Premier League before and would be happy to do so again, if need be, so Newcastle will need to convince him on the switch if they can reach an agreement with Sevilla.
The good news on that front is that the Spanish side ‘need to make cash’ so that they can make their own moves this summer, so they are very much open to a deal if Newcastle are serious.
That’ll likely be defined in the coming weeks but with Sevilla needing money and En-Nesyri willing to listen to offers, there could be a deal there to be done if they want it.
