Freshly back from Marseille where he had a terrible time, Celtic’s Olivier Ntcham isn’t expected to stay at Parkhead for very long.

There were reports the Frenchman was being tracked by AEK in Greece, but not a lot has come from that for the time being, but with a contract in Glasgow expiring in 2022, this summer is the last chance for Ange Postecoglou’s new team to make some money from the midfielder.

Thankfully for them, a couple of Ligue 1 sides, according to Foot Mercato, are still willing to take a gamble on Ntcham despite his torrid time in the south of France.

The French website claim the Celtic man is ‘seriously liked’ by two unnamed teams in the French top-tier, and, wanting some revenge after a disappointing half-season at Marseille, the player sees a return to the league ‘with a good eye’.

Either way, Foot Mercato are clear: Ntcham ‘will not return’ to Parkhead this season.

Thus, Postecoglou and co. will hopefully make some money from a sale.
