Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi is on the radar of Manchester United and Galatasaray.

That’s according to TyC Sports, who state the forward is not included in Christophe Galtier’s plans in Paris.

The Ligue 1 side’s new manager has also admitted it would be best for Icardi to make a move away from Parc des Princes this summer.

“The club is working side by side with Mauro to find the best possible solution. He had very little playing time and I think the best thing is to relaunch his career at another more favourable place,” Galtier was quoted as saying by TyC Sports.

The Argentina international’s situation has reportedly encouraged Manchester United and the Turkish club to look at him. Having been left out of the manager’s plans, the 29-year-old is currently training alone at PSG.

It’s claimed the former Inter Milan player ‘welcomes the move’ to Manchester United. The report adds the possibility for him to arrive at Old Trafford will be through a loan with a purchase option.

This would be favourable to the Red Devils, who are in the market looking for an attacker to please Erik ten Hag.

Galatasaray are interested in Icardi, and his wife Wanda Nara, who is also his agent, has met representatives of the Istanbul club three times so far. If a move to Turkey were to materialise, even that would be through loan with an option to buy and the Ligue 1 side would take care of part of his salary.
