Cristiano Ronaldo ‘warns’ Jose Mourinho, reports Italian newspaper Tuttosport, as they start their main build-up to the Champions League match between the two sides on Tuesday.
Ronaldo scored as Juventus managed to get a 1-1 draw with Genoa on Saturday, which isn’t exactly as impressive as Mourinho’s men being unlucky to come away from Stamford Bridge with just a point.
Tuttosport say Ronaldo’s performance against Genoa was ‘intense and effective’ and they clearly feel he’s simply warming up before the dispatching of Manchester United in the coming days.
Massimo Allegri changed up his side a little, with the Champions League game in mind, but still it’s hard to spin a 1-1 home draw with Genoa as being a good thing… yet Tuttosport are certainly giving it their best shot.
There’s been a lot of confidence in Juventus’ local media that Manchester United shouldn’t be too much of a problem, and Tuttosport even reported last week that the match could be used to pick up points and tap up some up players.
