Last summer, Ionuț Radu joined AFC Bournemouth on loan with an option to buy from Inter Milan, with the hope of being a regular under Andoni Iraola.
That didn’t happen as the 26-year-old has been restricted to five appearances, including two in the league. He’s been left out of the squad in the league since the Cherries’ 6-1 defeat to Manchester City last November.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Romania international ‘wants to leave’ Bournemouth in the winter market.
It’s claimed the stopper is disappointed with the limited role he has had this season and is looking for a new club, where he can enjoy more game time.
The report states Radu has ‘several admirers’, including teams from France and other English clubs. There’s also a possibility the stopper could return to Italy in this window.
Earlier this month, L’Equipe reported OGC Nice are following the Bournemouth man, after releasing Salvatore Sirigu.
Radu has to rush as time is running out for him to find a new destination. His deal at the San Siro lasts until 2025.
