We carried two reports on June 13th, discussing about AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker. Real Madrid and Liverpool are the two clubs interested in signing him this summer.

On Wednesday morning, Marca reported the Merseyside club are ready to pay whatever the Serie A outfit wants for the Brazil international. A few hours later, Mundo Deportivo said the stopper will reject an offer from Jurgen Klopp’s side as he has no plans to play in the Premier League.

Alisson only wants to join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window, according to the Mundo slant. If the deal doesn’t take shape, he will continue at Roma as he isn’t willing to join any other club.

Today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo claims the Champions League winners’ officials held talks with the 25-year-old’s agent, Ze Maria on Wednesday. Alisson has agreed to join Real Madrid and will sign a six-year contract with the Spanish capital club, if they agree a fee with Roma.

The La Liga outfit have offered €55m plus €5m in bonus to sign the player. However, Real’s offer is €20m short of Roma’s valuation of €80 million. The negotiations between the two clubs are still in place. It should be seen whether they will be able to reach an agreement for Alisson.

It’s worth pointing the claims come from the same newspaper and same column which claimed Liverpool had made a €65m offer.
