Former Ajax youngster Joshua Pynadath is hoping to continue his career with Chelsea after training with the Blues since March.
That’s according to Ajax Showtime, who say the winger is waiting for a work permit so he can continue his career at Stamford Bridge.
They say the 19-year-old is hopeful he will be granted a permit sooner rather than later as that would finally allow him to finalise the move to Chelsea.
He’s been training with them since March after leaving Ajax’s youth academy voluntarily in the summer of 2020.
He wanted to continue his career in a bigger country than the Netherlands but was unfortunate that the Coronavirus outbreak delayed his search for a new club.
He’s been with Chelsea for the last six months as a result but has managed to leave a ‘positive impression’ during his trial period.
They’d like to sign him permanently but are awaiting the approval of a work permit, at which point he will move to Stamford Bridge ‘definitively’.
