Genoa are keen on a move for AC Milan forward Fabio Borini, but he’s reportedly waiting for Crystal Palace to make their move.
Borini is out of favour at Milan, and a departure from the club has been mooted since the summer transfer window.
Recent weeks have seen Crystal Palace named as potential suitors, with them said to be ‘courting’ the 28-year-old.
And he’s waiting to see if that courting becomes something more concrete, according to Tuttosport.
They report that Genoa are putting ‘strong pressure’ to try and sign Borini and would like to get him when the January transfer window opens, but he is holding off.
That’s because he is waiting to see what Crystal Palace do first given their rumoured interest in him.
In fact, according to Pianeta Milan, the striker, whose wife is English, would prefer a move to Selhurst Park over anywhere else.
He fancies a return to the Premier League after previous spells with Chelsea, Swansea, Liverpool and Sunderland and wants to add a fifth club to that list.
