Juventus want to offload Sami Khedira in the ongoing transfer window.

On August 1st, we covered claims from Italy that Arsenal are one of the clubs chasing the midfielder.

According to ilBiancoNero, the former Real Madrid man is not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the 2019/20 season and Juve have made him available in the transfer market.

Besiktas and Fenerbahce have been interested in acquiring the player’s services, but the German rejected the offers from those two clubs.

That’s because he is waiting for the Gunners as Unai Emery’s side are the only club who have come close to meeting his salary demands.

Arsenal will have until Thursday 5pm GMT to close Khedria’s sale. The report explains his exit from the Turin club could be difficult, if there is no white smoke before the Premier League transfer deadline.

Earlier this month, TuttoMercatoWeb reported Khedria is waiting for a pay off from Juve so that he can terminate his contract and join Arsenal on a free transfer.

If Juve take up that option, it can improve their chances of parting ways with Khedira.
