According to Italian newspaper La Nazione (via TMW), the Red Devils are very keen on the player who Napoli previously tried to sign.
In fact, Fiorentina had turned down a €35 million offer from the Serie A club, the publication states, which led to talks over a fresh deal with the player.
But nothing has come of the discussions and now Comuzzo’s playing time has drastically been reduced. It’s now very possible that he will leave his current outfit at the end of the season, with extensive interest from the Premier League.
The outlet states that United scouts have been to watch the centre-back “several times” but there is also interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.
Comuzzo started 18 of the first 20 league games for Fiorentina but has only started two of the last 11 games for the Florence club.
The defender earned his first call up to the Italy national team in November and March but has yet to make his senior debut for the Azzurri.
