Marshall Munetsi is undergoing a medical at Wolverhampton this evening ahead of joining the Premier League club from Reims.
That’s according to Foot Mercato and journalist Sebastien Denis, who report that he will move to Molineux in a €20m deal.
They report that Munetsi’s medical examination at Wolves is already underway after Vitor Pereira’s side agreed a €20md deal with the Ligue 1 club for him. He will joined former teammate Emmanuel Agbadou in making the move to Molineux this month if his medical goes to plan.
Wolves have been keen to improve their defensive options this month as that area of the squad was considered the weak point by Pereira and his team.
They have already wrapped up a deal for Agbadou and have returned to Reims for his teammate Munetsi on deadline day of the window. A €20m deal is now in place and he’s currently undergoing his medical ahead of completing the move.
We’re sure there will be updates on that front in the coming hours as the various parties look to wrap up the deal and get it over the line before the transfer window closes this evening.
