Arsenal defender Pablo Mari will undergo his medical with Monza today ahead of a departure from the Emirates.
That’s according to Tuttomercatoweb, who say Mari is set for his medical ‘today’ after an ‘acceleration’ in talks with Arsenal in the ‘past few days.’
The website reports that the Italian club have ‘secured’ Mari from Arsenal, striking an agreement for a loan deal with an obligation to buy, set at €5m, if they avoid relegation this season.
The two sides have now finalised the details of that move and the defender is now set to arrive at Monza today to undergo medical examinations.
There is no mention of what time those examinations will take place, just that they are set to be done at some point today.
Mari will then presumably sign his contract with his new club and join them on loan, his second successive loan move away from the Emirates after spending the second half of last season on loan with Udinese.
