As far as Felipe Anderson is concerned, his time at West Ham is now coming to an end, with the player seeking an exit from London Stadium this summer.
The Brazilian was loaned to Porto last season in order to get the game time David Moyes seemed reluctant to give him, but that backfired drastically, as the winger hardly featured under Sergio Conceicao.
Now back at West Ham since his loan finished, the forward has been looking to force an exit, with his agents calling clubs to see if they would be interested.
One of his ideal landing spots would be his former club Lazio, where he tried to secure a move last year, and he’s trying again, according to Corriere dello Sport.
They state Anderson ‘has tried again in the past few weeks through his agents to see if the situation has changed with the new manager’.
That’s a reference to Maurizio Sarri, who recently took over the reins at Lazio, and his desire to return to Rome means he is ‘inevitably inserted’ in the list of potential attacking recruits going forward.
Whether it happens, however, depends entirely on the former Chelsea manager.
