Anderlecht star Steven Defour is on the verge of signing for newly promoted Premier League side Burnley.
The Clarets have agreed a fee of €8m with Anderlecht for the Belgian international, and are now expected to quickly complete a deal.
According to Belgian website HLN journalist Kristof Terreur, on Twitter, Defour is expected to undergo his medical examinations today before sealing a move to Burnley.

Terreur says Defour has already travelled to Manchester, and will sign a four year contract.
Abu Dhabi based club Al Jazira were also linked to the 28-year-old, but it has been reported Burnley offered significantly more money to get a deal done.
Defour seems to be an impressive signing for Burnley, his characteristics suit the Premier League and it’s nice he’s chosen that option over Al Jazira.
