AC Milan boss Vincenzo Montella confirmed M’Baye Niang is considering offers to leave the Serie A club in January. The Frenchman has been quite inconsistent this season and Montella also revealed he has been left disappointed with his attitude.

Going from Montella’s comments, it seems AC Milan are quite open to selling Niang. Serie A side Genoa are reportedly keen on his services, but reports in Italy suggest he could make a switch to the Premier League.

According to an exclusive on TuttoMercatoWeb, Liverpool and West Ham are keen on signing Niang.

TMW have a picture of Niang in a hotel in Milan, and say: ‘final goodbye and towards England’. A move to West Ham can’t be ruled out, with Slaven Bilic looking to freshen up his squad.

Jurgen Klopp has also been looking to sign a back-up to Sadio Mane, and it remains to be seen if Liverpool have identified Niang as a target. TMW believe AC Milan are likely to demand around €18m for Niang, who has 3 goals and 3 assists to his name this season.

That price is no problem for Liverpool or West Ham, although they may prefer a loan deal first.
