There’s confidence in Italy that Jesper Lindstrom will easily come to an agreement with Everton and complete his transfer to the Toffees quickly.
Monday’s edition of Gazzetta dello Sport presents the situation as it currently is, with Lindstrom almost being seen in a past tense at Napoli.
The Serie A club and Everton have agreed on everything. That agreed deal would see Lindstrom move to Everton on loan and the Premier League club have the right to buy him next summer for €23m.
In turn, Napoli are looking to move for Benfica’s David Neres. Their hope is that they can replicate the deal they’re agreeing for Lindstrom’s exit, so loan him from Benfica with a right to buy at around €23m.
Neres is unhappy at the Lisbon, is looking for a way out, and will be allowed to leave if a suitable offer arrives.
Of course, Napoli need the Lindstrom to Everton move to be completed first and Gazzetta say the player ‘should soon sign his contract’ with the Toffees.
