The uncle of Yerry Mina has reportely confirmed that the player is on his way to join Everton.

According to Colombian outlet Radio Caracol, Jair Mina, who also works as his agent, has given a positive answer when asked about the move.

Radio Caracol claims that the transfer presentation may be delayed to Friday or Saturday. The Toffees are expected to pay €32m for the defender, who will sign a five-year contract.

The outlet says that directors from the Premier League club have travelled to Barcelona to close the deal both for Mina as for André Gomes, who will move on a loan deal. Both players are said to have had their medicals in the Catalan capital.

That fits in with what is being claimed in Spain and England.

Yerry Mina signed for Barcelona from Brazilian side Palmeiras in January in a €11.8m deal. Even though he couldn’t make a future at Barcelona, a good World Cup performance for Colombia has seen him get a big transfer to England.
