It’s only been four months since Ola John was loaned from Benfica to Wolverhampton Wanderers, but the English club reportedly already want to send him back to Portugal.

O Jogo claims that the winger has failed to impress in England and the Wolves don’t count on him anymore.

Ola John has only played 71 minutes this season at the Molineux, 27 of which come from two Championship matches and 44 from a EFL Cup game.

CapturarThe player is currently recovering from a thigh injury, but even when fit it’s unlikely that he’ll get many more minutes for the team.

With a €45m release clause, the winger’s contract at Benfica is expiring in 2018. He’s also been loaned to Hamburg and Reading in the past couple of seasons.

As for Helder Costa, O Jogo appear to be excited by the fact Wolves director Kevin Thelwell told the British press that the club will do their best to sign him on a permanent transfer, and dedicate an article to his claims.
