Nottingham Forest fullback Yuri Ribeiro should leave the club at the end of the season, according to claims from the Portuguese media.

Outlet Record writes that the 24-year-old should head to a new club following the end of his contract with the Championship side.

The story says Ribeiro has been receiving approaches from several clubs, especially from Portugal, so a complete England exit is on the cards.

Record points out how unlikely it is for Nottingham Forest to get promotion to the Premier League this season, and that should be one of the reasons for the player not to renew his deal.

Yuri Ribeiro joined Nottingham Forest in a move from Benfica on a two-year deal back in 2019. In the current season he has 21 appearances, all of them playing for the full 90 minutes, and that’s why it’d probably make sense for the Reds to work to keep him.

Now with the information on his exit being leaked in Portugal, it’d be no surprise to see him returning to his country in the summer.
