Amadou Onana will fly to Manchester this evening to complete a medical with Everton tomorrow.
That’s according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who provides the latest details on the player’s fast-developing move to Goodison Park.
He reports that the transfer is ‘finally a done deal’ and Everton and Lille have agreed a €36m plus €4m deal and a 20% on any future sale.
The midfielder has also agreed on personal terms on a five-year deal with Everton and is set to fly to Manchester tonight before travelling to Merseyside.
He will then undergo a medical tomorrow before signing his contract and then attending Everton’s clash with Chelsea.
That is scheduled for 17:30, giving the player plenty of time to get the necessary medical and paperwork out of the way.
Tavolieri provides no details on the nature of the contract that Onana has agreed beyond that it is a five-year deal.
With a medical and flight now booked in, though, it seems this deal will be finalised sooner rather than later and Everton will have their latest signing through the door.
