Released from his Celtic contract earlier this month, Olivier Ntcham has been without a club since.

Returning to Parkhead from an extremely disappointing loan at Marseille, it was made clear the French midfielder didn’t have a future under Ange Postecoglou, and so a mutual decision was taken.

Free to sign for anyone interested, it appears the player will be heading to Wales, where Swansea are looking to welcome him.

According to RMC Sport, who report the 25-year-old is ‘very close’ to signing for at Liberty Stadium.

That’s all the French outlet have to give us for now, but it’s clear the player is looking to bounce back immediately from his recent failures at Celtic to try and prove everyone wrong.

A good season in the Championship could go a long way to kickstarting his career once more, and that’s where Swansea come in.

More details to come on this one later on in the day, no doubt.
