Yesterday, we had been covering the expectation around the first team debut of the Alianza Lima youngster Kluiverth Aguilar.

The 16-year-old could be playing against Alianza Universidad on Friday, and the Peruvian media has many stories about this.

One of the reasons for the fuss is that Aguilar has been linked to Manchester City in the past couple of months. In early September, a Fox Sports journalist claimed there are ‘advanced negotiations’ for him to move to the Premier League side.

Now with his possible debut, the transfer rumour is back on as being a hot topic, and it turns out that one of Aguilar’s teammates has kind of said too much.

Adrián Balboa has spoken to the Peruvian press this Thursday, and when speaking of the youngster’s first chance, he ended up saying that Manchester City have already bought him.

“Kluiverth was bought by Manchester City for something. He’s a player with many conditions. I see him well to play in the First Division, because of his personality, even though he’s still too young to play in a team with as much pressure as Alianza”, said Balboa (via AS).

The Peruvian media now claims that Manchester City could buy Aguilar and loan him out to a Spanish side.
