With the Brazilian season now over, it’s time for Allan to sort out his future. The Liverpool midfielder had a loan spell at Fluminense for the year, and should now be returning to England.
The midfielder had a positive time at the Rio de Janeiro side, although he missed the final fixture due to injury. He watched the match against Corinthians along with club fans, and had a word with them about the next year.
“I really want to stay. In fact, today I’m traveling to England to solve the process and we will see what will happen. I hope it works out,” Allan told Canal Flu News.
Liverpool signed Allan from Brazilian side Internacional back in 2015, but never used him in the first team. He’s had loan spells at Seinäjoki, St. Truiden, Hertha Berlin, Apollon Limassol, Eintracht Frankfurt and now Fluminense.
Fluminense have already made it clear they would like to count on Allan for next season, but besides negotiating with Liverpool, they must also beat the competition.
It’s recently been claimed that Rio de Janeiro rivals Flamengo are keen on his signing as well.
