Sevilla striker Youssef En Nesyri has ‘once again said “no”’ to West Ham, refusing to make the switch to the London Stadium.
That’s according to ABC Sevilla, who say the Spanish side ‘received an offer’ from West Ham but the player is not interested.
They report that the Hammers had returned to try and sign En Nesyri, who they have targeted on two separate occasions in the past without success.
This time they were offering a loan until the end of the season with obligation to buy for €20m in the summer, but En Nesyri has rejected the proposal.
That has put an end to any possible move, as Sevilla will not ‘put pressure’ on the player to accept the switch either. They trust the striker to return to his best and that is enough for Jorge Sampaoli.
Thus, any potential move to West Ham now appears to be dead in the water. En Nesyri is not interested in the move and Sevilla are not going to force him into it either, despite reports that they would be more than happy to accept.
The Hammers will instead need to turn their attention elsewhere and give up their longing for the Moroccan, who has never reciprocated their adoration.
